Rhys Woods is an off-beat entertainer with charisma, intelligence and loads of sassy catch phrases.
He was first seen in front of the camera on the second season of So You Think You’re Funny on SABC 1. He has performed stand-up comedy at Rocking The Daisies and extensively on the South African comedy circuit.
Rhys‘s “drag rock show” The Mary Scary Show has been performed to over 100 sold-out audiences in Cape Town, and has toured to Johannesburg, London and Frankfurt.
In August 2011 Rhys Woods started “The Rhys Woods Show” every Tuesday on 2oceansvibe Radio and it is currently one of the most popular shows at the station
