Robby Collins’ rise from actor on the Durban theatre circuit to popular stand-up comedian has taken all of 4 years.
His comedy material draws on real life experiences. This gives him a very believable stage presence and endears him to audiences. Robby Collins has performed for the biggest comedy audiences in South Africa with appearances at ‘The Heavy Weight Comedy Jam’ and ‘Blacks Only’ comedy shows.
He was selected by SA’s top comic, Trevor Noah, to tour with him and perform as his opening act.
Robby Collins earned a well-deserved nomination for “breakthrough act of the year” at the inaugural “Comics Choice Awards.”
